By accessing or using StoryFlow ("the Service") at storyflow.liamding.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

StoryFlow is an AI-powered platform that lets you create personalized picture books: you provide themes and characters, and we generate story text and illustrations using AI. Features may include multiple art styles, PDF export, character management, and subscription or one-time purchase options. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice where feasible.

3. Account and Eligibility

You must create an account to use certain features. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Keep your password secure and notify us of any unauthorized use.
  • Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) or use the Service with parental/guardian consent.

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Create content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Generate content that exploits or endangers minors.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our models or source code without permission.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service or generated content in a way that violates these Terms.
  • Circumvent usage limits, payment, or access controls.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these rules.

5. Payment and Refunds

Subscription and one-time purchase terms (prices, billing cycles, features) are described on our pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method according to your chosen plan. Refund policy: we may offer refunds at our discretion or as required by law; otherwise fees are generally non-refundable. You may cancel a subscription according to the instructions in the app or on the pricing page.

6. Intellectual Property and Your Content

Your content: You retain ownership of the prompts and character information you provide. You grant us a license to use, store, and process this content (and to send it to our AI providers) solely to provide and improve the Service.

Generated content: Subject to your payment of applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive license to use, download, and share the stories and images generated for you through the Service for personal or commercial use, in line with these Terms and acceptable use.

Our property: StoryFlow's name, logo, website, and technology are our property. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT GENERATED CONTENT WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS. AI-GENERATED CONTENT MAY CONTAIN INACCURACIES OR INAPPROPRIATE MATERIAL; YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING AND USING SUCH CONTENT APPROPRIATELY. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STORYFLOW AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN SUCH CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED BY LAW.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StoryFlow and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; we may retain or delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and StoryFlow regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles.
